Grand Theft Auto 2
is an action-adventure open world game originally published for Windows and Sony PlayStation console. This version of GTA2 is modified from its original version to enable support for modern PC’s and current Microsoft Windows platforms.
GTA 2 is set in a retro-futuristic metropolis which is split into three levels, or districts. Like its predecessor, the game
provides players a complete freedom on the city by exploring it on foot or in various vehicles and ultimately doing mission for higher stakes of awards. The game also
introduces an advent of multiple rival gangs which is scattered around the City , including the Yakuza, Scientist, Looney’s, Rednecks, Zaibatsu, The Russian Mob and Hare Krishna’s. The player must earn their respect with each gang by taking up different missions for them and climb their way to the top of the criminal pile.
Now, longtime GTA fans can revisit this classic entry as well as the new players who missed out on the early franchise and discover its roots. The game is completely redone to play on modern PCs and is available for all registrant to the Rockstar Games mailing list.
